libE57 Downloads

The libe57 software is hosted on SourceForge under the e57-3d-imgfmt project. At this time, the software is divided into two components: 1) the Foundation API and associated tools and examples, and 2) the Simple API. The current pre-packaged versions are listed below. Older versions and the absolute latest versions can be accessed from the project downloads directory on SourceForge. This version will generate the V1.0 E57 file format as approved by the ASTM standard E2807.

Submitting Bugs

In order to limit spam mail and as adviced by SourceForge team, only poeple logged in SourceForge are allowed to submit a new bug request. So, create your own SourceForge account if it is not already done. Then to submit a bug, click on the "Bugs" link.

libE57 (version 1.1.312) Aug. 9, 2012

The Foundation API is a full-featured interface capable of reading, writing, and validating E57 files, including access to extensions. The simple API is an easy to use interface built on top of the Foundation API that supports the most common use cases for reading and writing E57 files.

Support for Linux has been added but it is only available by using the CMake and source code.
